How it works
Travel Egypt with a local expert
Who better to plan a trip than someone who lives and works where you are going?

What happens next
From enquiry to itinerary
- 1You send an enquiryRough dates and how long you have is enough to start. No account, no checkout, no card.
- 2We pass it to our partner in EgyptThe people who will actually run the trip, rather than a sales desk in another country.
- 3You get a real itinerary with pricesUsually within 24 hours. Written for your dates, not pulled off a shelf.
- 4You change whatever you likeAs many times as it takes. Nothing is booked and nothing is charged until you are happy.
Why it is better this way
Four things an Egypt local expert gives you
Planned by someone who lives there
Our partner is an Egypt local expert: a travel company in the country, staffed by people who work the routes. That is the difference between an itinerary assembled from a website and one built by somebody who knows the Valley of the Kings is unbearable after ten, and which Nile boat was actually refitted last year.
Your money reaches the people running the trip
You are quoted by, and book with, the local company. There is no chain of agents between you and them, each taking a margin. More of what you pay stays in Egypt, with the guides, drivers and boat crews doing the work.
Built around you, not a fixed departure
Every itinerary on this site is a starting point. Add days, drop sites, reorder the route, travel on your own dates. Group departures are labelled as such; everything else is private and changeable until you say otherwise.
A trip you will actually remember
Better timing, fewer coaches, and somebody willing to tell you when a site is not worth the extra ticket. We would rather you saw four things properly than eight in a blur.
Common questions
Who actually runs the trip?+
A travel company based in Egypt. They employ the guides, arrange the transport and hold the licences. We write the guidance on this site and put you in touch with them.
So what do you do?+
We research and write the routes, timings and practical advice you are reading, and we connect you with the local company that runs the trip. We are not the operator and we do not claim their history or their licences as ours.
Does going through you cost more?+
No. You are quoted by the local company directly rather than through a chain of agents, which is usually cheaper than booking the same trip through a large international operator.
Who do I pay, and who is responsible?+
You book and pay the Egyptian operator. Their booking conditions govern the trip, and they carry the responsibility for delivering it. We will name them and link their terms before you commit to anything.
Can I contact them directly?+
Yes. That is the point. Once an enquiry is passed on you deal with the people planning your trip, not with a middleman relaying messages.
