This is a nile cruise route through Luxor · Edfu · Kom Ombo · Aswan, run privately unless you pick a group departure. Your guide is a licensed Egyptologist who lives on the route rather than flying in with the group.
Nothing here is fixed. Days can be added, dropped or reordered, and we will tell you honestly which optional sites are worth the extra ticket.

Day 1Met at Luxor airport and taken straight to the boat, then across to the East Bank for Karnak and Luxor temples. Lunch, dinner and the first night on board.
Day 2Breakfast on board, then the Valley of the Kings, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Back aboard for lunch. Dinner and the night on board.
Day 3Sail to Edfu, breakfast on board, then the Temple of Horus — the most complete temple in Egypt. Sail on to Kom Ombo, lunch on board, and in the afternoon the double temple shared between Sobek and Haroeris. Dinner and the night on board.
Day 4Sail to Aswan and take breakfast on board, then the Unfinished Obelisk, still lying in the quarry where it cracked, and the Temple of Philae on its island. Back to the boat for lunch, dinner and the last night.
Day 5Breakfast aboard, then disembark and transfer to Aswan airport for your flight out. Abu Simbel is offered as an option on this morning, at extra cost.

A group. The operator states it plainly: all sightseeing from the cruise runs as a shared small group of roughly fifteen people. Your airport transfers are by private air-conditioned vehicle, but the temple visits are shared with other passengers from the boat.
No. Domestic flights are excluded on this trip, along with international ones. You need to get yourself to Luxor for day one and home from Aswan on day five, and both are separate bookings. You are met at Luxor airport and dropped at Aswan airport.
Luxor to Aswan, which is the classic direction and the longer of the two by a night. It ends in Aswan, the calmer of the two cities, rather than starting there. Sailing the other way is usually cheaper and one night shorter, and it ends with the busiest sites instead.
All of them on board. Four nights of full board, starting on the day you embark and ending with breakfast on the day you disembark. Drinks on board are paid extra. The boats publish no drinks price list, so ask for one before you board. Bottled water in the vehicle during transfers is covered.
It is listed as an option on the final morning, before your flight from Aswan. Optional tours are excluded from the price, so it is a separate cost. By road it is three to four hours each way, which makes a very long start to a day you are also flying out on.
International and domestic flights, your Egypt entry visa, extra meals and beverages, optional tours, tipping, and additional entry tickets. Tutankhamun's tomb in the Valley of the Kings is the usual example of the last one: a separate ticket bought at the site.
Tipping is excluded from the price and it is expected. Allow US$10–15 per person per day for the guide and about US$5 per person per day for the driver. On the boat there is a crew box at US$5–10 per person per night, collected once at the end and split between the cabin stewards, waiters and deck crew.
