Egypt in April is the crossover. The Red Sea reaches about 25C, which is genuinely warm, while Luxor at 35C is still workable if you start early and stop at midday.
It suits a Nile-plus-Red-Sea trip better than almost any other month, because both halves work rather than one carrying the other.
Crowds thin noticeably after Easter, and prices follow. Khamsin winds remain possible into April.
